Preface

The villa project is located in Fengtai, Beijing. The owner's family has a unique understanding of the quality of life and artistic taste. The designer's handling of space and use of colors fully restore the "breathable feeling" expected by the owner - enabling each space to stretch with the daily rhythm and, in the "gentle conversation" among furniture, soft furnishings and customized cabinets, write about the warmth and intellectualism of the minimalist space. Under the framework of functionalism, the first floor is the public activity area, focusing on family gatherings and social interactions. The open - plan layout breaks the spatial barriers, with the living room, kitchen, dining area, stairs and entrance hall as the core area. The second floor is the master bedroom of the couple, equipped with a corner balcony and a corridor space concept, combining privacy, comfort, a sense of ritual and a sense of luxury. The third floor has an effective division between the independent cloakroom and the secondary bedroom, demonstrating the infinite possibilities of multiple functions. Each space maintains its independence while, through the unity of materials and colors, constructing a smooth spatial narrative and conveying the elegant taste of gentleness and comfort.

The space on the first floor

The first - floor space | Simple Realm, Soothing Heart, Warmth and Poetry in the World

The customized entrance cabinet in the entryway space skillfully combines the purity of baked enamel with the warmth of wood, creating an aesthetic atmosphere that is both restrained and full of warmth. The overall cantilevered design paired with the mirror in an artistic shape is a true reflection of the owner's daily life. Emotions, dimensions, and warmth are integrated into it, showing style and taste from both a visual and functional perspective. Utensils are stored in the tall cabinet, and tranquility flows in the blank spaces. The first sight upon returning home is the coexistence of style and warmth.

The first floor serves as the main space for family's public life. A large amount of the hard decoration in the entire space is left blank, as if drawing the pure natural breath into the room. The light - colored walls and the dark - colored cork floors complement each other, creating a visual dialogue between time and space. The sofa and the tea table lean against each other front and back, weaving a "sense of quiet and rich time". A touch of elegant and intellectual red, like silk, skillfully and naturally weaves a gentle dream. The walls seem to be gently kissed by the sun, and the soft light wanders in every corner of the room. The TV cabinet, wall panels and floors with different shades of colors interweave an elegant and calm base, pursuing the ultimate tranquility and peace.

Being here, it seems as if we can see happiness dancing around the "Bella Coffee Table". You can choose to lie gently in the tender embrace of the "Towell Sofa", spin and jump on the "Ronan Lounge Chair", or sit at the "Zhida Table" for a collision of modern and classical thoughts. Both the TV cabinet and the wall panels fully showcase a visually thin and simple design, yet they bring people a profound architectural texture and a stable sense of security from their line structures.

Outside the kitchen, there is a seamless dialogue between the public island counter and the living room - allowing the space to find balance in the flow of colors and lines, and pursue harmony in openness. The island counter, together with the dining table, is not blocked by walls. It is connected to the living room yet forms its own unique area. The rock slab countertop of the "Weimar Dining Table" is light and gentle, accommodating the owner's daily regular and convenient dining habits. In terms of structural design, it embodies the understated elegance of home furnishings. The minimalist and lightweight appearance, paired with the highly functional Werner Island Counter beside it, adds boundless convenience and beauty to the dining experience.

The sideboard is installed in a linear suspended manner, adding more practical storage areas. The door panels feature a beveled edge shape, combined with the shelf design on the upper left side, which can hold various decorative items, ornaments, and daily utensils, exuding a strong sense of refinement. The chandelier in the dining room and the sideboard echo the velvet red of the living room sofa. They are stylish and distinctive, yet quietly stand in the space with a reserved and introverted charm, neither competing nor vying, presenting an elegant and intellectual presence.

Different from the open kitchen island area, there is a separate dining space next to the living room. When relatives and friends gather here, dining becomes more ceremonial. Compared with the linear layout of the open kitchen island, the "Klee Round Table" in the independent space not only meets the privacy requirements of social interaction in modern life, but also allows everyone to sit around together in a specific time and space, realizing the traditional Chinese concept of "reunion".

In order to facilitate the owner's life, the designer has set up a separate customized sideboard in the independent dining room. Each space meets various daily functions such as storage and power use. The kitchen is equipped with a three - way sliding glass door, which opens up the flavor of daily life. With each opening and closing, the sense of exclusivity and ritual of the living scene is carefully taken care of. Every time one passes through it, it is also a physical hint of the switch of the living scene.

The space on the second floor

The second - floor space | Between concealment and restraint, the realm of the heart's dwelling

After passing through the entrance hall on the second floor, there is a side cabinet and a leisure area, which are elegant without being deliberately ostentatious. The "Jacob Side Cabinet" leads to the respective bedrooms of the male and female owners. In daily life, you can casually pick up a magazine and sit here for a while, or hold a cup of tea and look out of the window, enjoying the peaceful and tranquil time alone.

The living room on the first floor is connected to the second floor in a high - ceilinged manner. From afar, one can appreciate the change of seasons outside, and up close, one can feel the purification of the four seasons in the heart. Knowing the inside and outside and reflecting on it in the heart, appropriate concealment and restraint is the best interpretation of the bedroom area on the second floor.

As the core of a private space, the bedroom is designed with full consideration of the personal functional and emotional needs of the occupants. In the mistress's room, the sleeping area and the clothing area are separated and connected by a vibrant red background wall. The comfortable and spacious "Batory Bed" enhances the living experience with a sense of privacy from both physical and psychological aspects through its unique double - supporting bed screen. As a concrete expression of personal emotions, materials and colors spread gracefully in the red hue under the linear lighting behind the bed. Lying on the bed and leaning gently against the leather headboard, one can feel an extra touch of tenderness and comfort. The "Carlo Nightstand", combined with the wardrobe design of closed and open - partitioned areas nearby, skillfully integrates function and form in an orderly manner.

The master bedroom is a more pure space, with natural materials, soft furnishings, and classic bedside tables. The wide headboard of the "Kelly Bed" perfectly integrates with the background panel, and the wall is left blank naturally. When entering the bedroom, freedom lingers in any corner. All things seem to yield time and space to oneself, allowing one to quietly feel the flow of inner thoughts. Home is our spiritual universe. This kind of quiet introspection is obviously a rare quality in this era.

The space on the third floor

Three - layer space | Dwell at ease, joy be grown

The overall design of the independent cloakroom on the third floor is full of order without being rigid. The wardrobe and the wall-mounted background wall enclose the space without separating it. Instead of setting up a central island counter separately in the middle, more space is left vacant to form a multi-functional area that combines storage, display, and free movement. Daily outfits, bags, hats, accessories, gift storage, sports, and travel items all have their respective places here. The junctions of the shape and material of each panel reflect a delicate understanding of design; the matching of each functional system is the result of careful consideration for a quality life; the selection and positioning of each lighting fixture also create a just-right sensory experience in the space. It seems simple, but actually hides infinite precise thinking.

The secondary bedroom directly facing the cloakroom serves as a spare room, not confined to the fixed form of a home. Through its connection with the cloakroom and the staircase, this place holds infinite yearnings for a wonderful life. It is a warm little residence for children when they come home, and also a corner for solitary reading during occasional leisure times. There is not too much decoration in the space. The hard - fitting, customized cabinets and desks all strive to retain the simple lines of minimalist elements. Enjoying the bright lighting on the third floor, paired with an exquisite and stylish "Quint Reading Chair", one can relax and draw the infinite energy bestowed by the space.

COSMO MOBILI Kemu Full Case Design takes "hiding warmth in restraint and containing profound meaning in simplicity" as its core, deeply integrating the functional practicality and emotional experience of a 480-square-meter villa residence. From the entrance to each floor, the overall design features simple lines, natural materials, and ingenious color combinations. The appropriate blank spaces in the space and the elegant red color connect one living scene after another, creating a peaceful and peaceful atmosphere without losing style. It not only releases the flexibility of the space through the cantilever design, boundless zoning, and concealed layout of the whole house customization to meet various needs such as storage, socializing, and resting, but also pays attention to the use of light and the refinement of details, so that every corner conveys the consideration of the quality of life. Whether it is the "sense of quiet time" in the public area or the "sense of spiritual dwelling" in the private space, it reflects the design concept of "home as a spiritual universe" - while meeting daily needs, it also becomes a spiritual harbor for placing emotions, calming oneself, and carrying the longing for a beautiful life.
