Minimalism is a way of life. For this project, the client requested a refreshing sense of modern sophistication within a minimalist space.Thus, the designers initiated a modern and stylish home art feast in this romance-inspired venue, presenting understated yet distinctive contemporary aesthetics throughout the space. Through a high-quality urban home environment, it showcases the homeowner’s affluent spiritual realm.
01 Minimalist Aesthetics: Returning to Life’s True Harmony
The romance and harmony of minimalism aim to create a spiritual enjoyment beyond material possessions through the fewest elements, purest colors, and simplest lines—allowing life to return to its essence without losing romance and harmony.The living room features the Dia Sofa, which boasts striking geometric linear beauty. Through the combination of lines and geometric blocks, it reveals the structural and orderly elegance of the space, making people feel the stability and completeness of the homeowner’s spiritual core. The one-piece floor-to-seat upholstery design is both safe and comfortable; from the backrest to the seat cushion, the rounded arc design (with edges softened) fits the human body curve perfectly.
In spatial layout, the designers adhered to the principle of “less is more.” Each area has a clear and definite function, ensuring both the openness of the space and meeting practical usage needs.The walls and floors of the living room adopt gray tones, abandoning redundant decorations. Only through the subtle changes in material, fabric, and color of the sofa and throw pillows does it create a visual experience that is tranquil yet warm.
The Nikola Side Table, filled with minimalist geometric elements, serves as a matching piece for the sofa. Its interlocking design makes more efficient use of space. In terms of color, the understated and elegant dark green is paired with the warm and stylish cream orange; in terms of material, it combines skin-friendly, comfortable velvet with smooth, translucent lacquer. During leisure time, just a cup of coffee and a book are enough to let you savor a cozy moment.
Every piece of furniture and decoration is carefully selected—it not only has practical value but also serves as a work of art in the space. The irregular curved design of the Giotto Coffee Table, with its pea-like curve shape, adds a touch of novelty to the space. The Hannover Lounge Chair draws inspiration from outdoor beach chairs; its armless design is relaxed and sensual, as if instantly bringing the comfortable atmosphere of mountains, hills, lakes, and seas into the home, allowing people’s body and mind to return to nature and relax.
02 Vibrant & Cheerful Color Contrasts in the Dining Room
The dining room adopts an independent open layout, paired with full-panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. This not only fills the entire dining room with ample natural light but also endows it with smooth traffic flow and a spacious, bright environment. By virtue of the curved walls in the hard decoration and the same curved elements in the furniture, it achieves an artistic effect that balances rigidity and softness.
The deep wood veneer and custom cabinets create a strong contrast with the bright and cheerful colors of the dining table and chairs, leaving a modern and avant-garde impression.The Babylon Dining Table stands firmly on four corners with its thick cylindrical legs; the two-tone tabletop design allows the vivid red to “flow” naturally in the space. The light oak wood grain on the tabletop complements the dark wood grain of the custom cabinets. The six Barbara Dining Chairs, formed in one piece with cold foam, have wide seats that give the flexible lines strong visual impact.
03 A Resting Haven of Vitality & Sensitivity
The master bedroom uses warm and plain tones as the base, integrated with apricot-orange to inject vitality and sensitivity into the space. Gentle and romantic emotions pervade the space, with every corner filled with comfort—creating a quiet resting haven amid the bustling city.
The Noah Bed, with its headboard wider than the bed frame, exudes a relaxed and grand “leading role” demeanor. The flush-side design maximizes the use of space and further highlights the homeowner’s pursuit of exquisite and restrained personality.The headboard adopts a split design, with rounded edges that connect perfectly with the decorative wall of the hard decoration. At the foot of the bed, the Lucas Lounge Chair (upholstered in the same leather color as the bed) features slender legs tilted in a dynamic posture, endowing it with an elegant and noble temperament.It is paired with the Gio Coffee Table made of dark oak; its unique cone-shaped base makes it not only a coffee table but also an exquisite decorative piece.
To make the space more neat and organized, the Vog TV Cabinet is presented in the form of a wall-mounted TV stand, giving the bedroom a fashionable and novel look. The Carlo Nightstand is square with subtle rounded details—orderly yet flexible. The warm rounded edge design provides a strong sense of security.The Horta Clothes Rack draws inspiration from the mysterious globe, full of creativity and logic. Its simple shape makes it easy to take clothes at any time, being both delicate and practical.
04 Dressing in Light & Shadow: Savoring Comfort with the Etan Bed (Guest Bedroom)
The sleeping area of the guest bedroom is cleverly designed with a dressing corner by the window; the window blurs the boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces. Abundant sunlight spills onto the dressing table, and when paired with the floating Etan Bed, it brings a strong sense of relaxation and comfort.The Etan Bed adopts a headboard-free design, connecting seamlessly with the custom hard-decorated headboard wall. The upholstered side panel of the bed is level with the mattress—this not only saves space but also complements the design of the adjacent custom wardrobe, further highlighting the modern and contemporary atmosphere.
The Gail Square Stool is more than just a dressing stool—it can also be used as a dining stool or shoe-changing stool. Covered in stylish houndstooth fabric, it not only meets various needs of home life but also serves as an exquisite work of art to appreciate.On one side of the bed, the Ivan Coffee Table is used as a nightstand in a highly artistic way. Its unique geometric shape and the interlocking craftsmanship of the dark wooden base fill the entire space with a unique and charming appeal.
